ALBOVERSE, a global K-POP character idol project jointly presented by Korea, the United States, and Japan.

In February 2026, the global character IP brand ALBOVERSE officially announces a global K-POP character idol project jointly planned by three countries: Japan — ALBO JAPAN (CEO Maho Yoshimi / DIAMONDS), Korea — ALBO GLOBAL (CEO Ilkyung Song), and the United States — ALBO USA (Co-CEO Daniel Lee).

The project begins from the creative vision of designer Ilkyung Song, and has drawn attention for building a new type of artist brand that combines K-POP × Character IP × Global Cultural Industry (music & visual media) through cooperation between Korea, the United States, and Japan.

The six-member character idol “ALBO,” born through global collaboration

“ALBO” is a virtual idol group composed of six distinctive characters and will be developed around three core business pillars:
① Video content and story-based episode series production
② Album and digital single releases
③ Character merchandise and licensed products

In particular, the music division will operate as a participatory album project in which K-POP and J-POP artists directly take part, establishing a Global Collaboration System where artists and producers from multiple countries work together. Through this, ALBO aims to evolve beyond a simple character into a new platform for cultural exchange.

Although ALBOVERSE is a new brand, the project is driven by Korean and Japanese content production companies with over 15 years of industry experience.
